Is your town infested with 2012 coins of late

I went to the St Louis area last week for a short family trip and I have never seen a place more over run with 2012 coins, pennies, nickels and dimes. Everywhere I went, I got back 2012 coins as change and when I looked at the cash register drawers, full of 2012 coins.

I asked at a few banks, if they had and halves. Most of the branchs had a few sitting around ended up with just over $100 worth. No silver but picked up a couple of good halves for my daughter's collections that we were missing.

We were out at Meremac Caverns MO, Grafton IL, St Loius and Fairview Hights IL, to name a few places and everywhere 2012 coins. I am hoping this has not spead to TX while we were away.

Try searching a quarter box, maybe you'll find the "S" mint marked quarters for this year in business strike form. They are NIFC, and have a mintage of only about 1/2 million each.

I told BofA 89119 those 2012 shield pennies are wack dawg!! We still got 2012 nickels at work in 89019.
