Is This To Small To Be A Fob?

[RPG]

This was found at an old house site that dates to late 1800's - early 1900's. I would like to know what it
is and what does the figure of the man represent. Racing? Flying?

looks like a watch fob to me.....i think its depicting early auto driver.

Its lightweight, thin construction amd comparatively small size suggest that it might be a badge "drop," originally suspended from a ribbon with a hanger bar at the top. That said, it could definitely have been worn as a fob, too.

BuckleBoy...This came from moist red clay and I wish I had my camera. The impression left in the clay
was just as cool as the relic itself.

I should have known that one was coming. But you could very well be right MJ. This could be a
zipper pull from a leather jacket.
