Sounds like a good deal. I use my pinpointer quite a bit but I wish it would penetrate an inch or so of earth. You have to be nearly touching a target before it will signal. At least that's how mine works. I've read a similar comment on another post. If there's one out there with a little more penetrating power it would sell like hotcakes!

IF the pinpointer penetrated more it would not be a pinpointer, I don't think you can have it both ways

It's a fair deal on a fair pinpointer. Not the best, not the worst. My friend has one.

anyone buy one of these? Just wondering how they worked, I am upgrading to a detector without pinpoint (Tesoro Eldorado) and am considering this as a cheap alternative to the built in feature of my ACE250.
