is this some sort of scraper

Found this today, I think it looks like some sorta scraper blade. At first I thought it was a saw of some kind from the teeth but it is only 3" long. Any ideas or thoughts would be great. Not even sure of age. It was bout 6 or 8" deep

Looks like a piece broken off a hacksaw or a meat saw. Can you give some dimentions from teeth to back, thickness? I'd put my money on a piece of a butchers style meat saw.
