One is 2" other is 1 1/2

It most likely is. Giving us the size will tell more. And in your state, easily Civil War or war of 1812, depending on the local history.

It does look like Case shot , forgive me if my terminology is incorrect.

The two from the dimensions sound more like case and canister shot.
