I believe it to be the real thing. Should be a nice added piece to your collection.

Definitely Turquoise! As far as from where it is from, it is hard to say. Besides Arizona, there are other parts of the world where Turquoise is found but yours' appears to be from the hot Desert SW due to the amount of fracturing in it.

Light blue green turquoise bordering on malachite. Looks to have good hardness and might make a good cabochon but its a nice speci just like it is. :)

Looks real. How did you come about them?
If the origin is the USA it would seem most likely Nevada.
Might try turquoise-muesium.com They show various locations of examples. More likely just google.
