Is this "PINITE?"

My grandpa jus passed not to long ago but, he use to bring me rocks that were unique in their own way overtime me and him gathered a whole bunch of rocks.about a week ago I started to pay attention to them and try to figure out what they were so if anyone could help with any knowledge or input that you have I would appreciate it. Mindat has a slew of information about various minerals and their locations. I took a dig on Pinite and this is what I found : Pinite: Pinite mineral information and data.

Pinite appears to be a replacement mineral after a primary one has decomposed. A similar material Goethite, also called Devils Dice in Australia, is also a replacement mineral usually after pyrite. Penite appears to by composed of mica's however.

Your pictures don't seem to resemble the mineral... but I'm just taking a quick read on them. What are the characteristics of whats displayed?
