Judging from the posts... the midwest looks bad.. that's the problem with $38/oz silver.

My last 12 boxes have also been skunks. I am in Ohio. I will keep on trying for a while. I keep hoping that some will turn up soon.......Matt

Back off a little for a while with the number of boxes you order. BUT.....don't give up. It's out there for the finding....trust me!

I took a break for a bit, and I'm back to finding silver. Just remember, it's a game of patience. Your not gonna find silver all the time.

People told me Utah was a heavily searched area and yet I'm on a 4 box silver streak. The 4th "box" was actually just 30 Loomis machine rolls and yet I found 3 40%s in them today. I may well have hit what we call a silver vein here. Don't forget, when I started out, I ended up searching about 8 or 9 boxes of skunks, for a skunk vein. They say that when silver enters the system it usually does so in a large group. Overall, I've read and now experienced for myself time and time again that they keys to overcoming the skunk boxes are consistency, volume, and patience.

I personally had a skunk streak of 13 last year myself. It was very frustrating believe me.. You starting getting ideas whether people at the facilities are cull them.. etc. I think I could deal with 13 skunks in a row but people amaze me like jrf30 who had 45 skunks in a row. At about 40 skunks in a row, I would've seriously quit.

Reports here say that everyone is searching for silver. From churches to shopping centers, they are all searching silver. Banks have been told to cull or be fired. It's just totally crazy, all my neighbors have only one thing on there mind, idol, and searching silver. They just want theirs, before everything blows up!

The end is near, its time to give up. >:D >:D

I think it IS about over. And I'm going to post a new post saying exactly that, WITH reasons. :-[

over for you, maybe. not for me. But good luck on ya.

True. And I'm happy for you, in that area where you can still get silver. :icon_thumleft:

I know I have had the most skunks (18) since I've been searching boxes of half dollar rolls. But I will keep on looking for a while at least. I do believe it is still out there too!

lots of interesting thoughts from a lot of members. things seem to have slowed down in my area but others in different places seem to be doing well. with 13 skunks in a roll im still not ready to give up so i think ill just up my volume and hang in ther for that dream box, i know itss comming. superdave

I keep seeing a lot of skunk postings, and had a thought. How many coin processing centers are there in a city? Would it be at the main bank,or at a major terminal like loomis or brinks? If you dump at Chase, and pickup at WF,could all your dumps be going to one big facility,so you'd end up with the same dump, but from another source?

I have quit posting my finds as much because of the increase in new hunters. Rather not show them the piles of silver I have been hauling in lately.
