Well, ok, so I failed at finding a picture in my quick search, but they were often used with the (not surprisingly) M1942 personal field stove. Coleman and others made the majority of those, but to the same standards of course. But at any rate, in 1942 our metal drive was on and civilians weren't being offered a lot of new metal cookware.
Oops, i' a slow typer, Yes Mike. Or if they weren't as lucky the M-1941 stove was also around.They weren't however one of the ones used to encase the field stove. To be honest I haven' t seen this model of pan, but with the markings and year of manufacture I think it's certainly military, would you agree Mike?
