I talked to Beverly at American Detectors in Texas, and she has received nothing official from Deus but I also talked to one of the higher ups, and he says the price is about right, and should be about the same price as the D1 HF coil. They also said some pre orders have been made.....

I hadn't seen the ability to order it yet, but I do know they were/are working on such a coil.

Do you all think it will improve the Deus 2

I think it would be a nice option for tighter spaces and even better separation than the existing round coils. I know my most frequent hunting spot (my yard) is littered with iron and could definitely benefit from a smaller elliptical coil (I have the stock 11" round coil).

WOW My hunting partner is going to hate life .... HA HA HA

I did see one advertised the other day for $399 I think .

I use the DEUS I with HF Elliptical for small gold, if this one can be used on the beach and pick up small gold it will be a game changer..

The DEUS I with this coil seems to be able to pick up just about anything... Gold Earrings that are open, Small Gold Chains ETC,
Before you go out and buy one in the hopes of finding tons of small gold others can't get, I will tell you from my experience that I only dig everything in certain circumstances because there is so much small trash that you would be digging traces of foil everywhere.. in ball fields and such.. and the places I have dug everything there has not been "GOLD EVERYWHERE" that others can't get so there's that..

But the DEUS II is much more stable in Salt water and I would love to see how this reacts to Gold on wet salt water sand with a Multifrequency machine..
