IS THIS GOLD ????!!

So basically this material was found inside a jar in north africa ( it was extracted from 5-10 meters down ). The jar contained 5kg of these and some kind of antiques The gold detector went on on it but i can't tell what is it exactly. Can you please help me if you have any ideas about it. Thank you.

Maybe one piece of gold. The other bits look like raw garnet.

In America we get little roundish obsidian formations called "Apache Tears" that simetimes have similar shape.
