is this bullet old?. i'm thinking civil war era?

found this today..walked 3 miles into dense spider web ridden woods where they trained civil war troops.
found some shotgun shell casings and those ever present aluminum pull tabs.
is this a 3 ringer? and how old do you think it is...it is 9/16 wide and looks like it was 1 inch long before it was shot
thanks owg.

It is definitely a civil war era yankee 3-goove Minie-ball... but it is not a .69-caliber. The digger said its diameter is 9/16-inch, which decimally is .566-inch. So it it s .58-caliber minie.
