See video below. Tested indoors in the video and outdoors after. There are no electronics in this room or any adjacent spaces. No TV antennas, no power lines. The detector won't pick up any coins or jewelry even right up against the coil unless iron is active. Then everything that passes the coil rings as iron; silver, gold, clad. Is it broken or am I doing something wrong.

Sorry, it isn't clear from video how you have it set up. It looks like some targets are notched/discriminated out, remove all notches (discrimination) or do a factory reset and start from there.

Don't know if you have manual or not. Here is link to manual.

Just FYI, in house is not a good place to test, walls have electrical wires, TVs, refrigerator and freezers emit electromagnetic fields, specifically low frequency magnetic fields, and any electronic devices plugged in, and they are not restricted to just the room they are in.

Looks like it is on a bed, if it has box springs then it is also sitting on metal too.

Thanks for the reply. I did the factory reset ahead of that test. I repeated the test outside, away from the house with identical results. What's notched out in the coin and jewelry modes is factory set. The last test I did has everything open including iron. That's the only time it detects but everything comes up iron and only a couple inches away from the coil with sensitivity at 8. If I turn down the sensitivity, nothing rings even right on top of the coil. The machines is unusable in all metal mode. No matter the sensitivity or where it's powered on it just constantly chatters and grunts. And for what it's worth, that bed is a foam mattress on a wood frame.

If it was me, you bought it off Ebay I would contact the seller and tell him you want a refund. We have used detectors sold here on our classified forum, and good supporting vendors too.

I requested a refund but the seller is not responding. Hoping eBay steps in. I'll have to check the classifieds.
