I know this is not worth anything, but was curious about what and how old it is? I found it on some rocks by a river. It is 8 inches tall. (For some reason the pics need to be clicked on twice to be right side up?)

Welcome to TreasureNet.

I moved your post to What is it.
as it is more proper .

I'm guessing Soda or early Beer.

But it looks like a Soda bottle that originally had a paper Label.

Possibly manufactured in 1982

Definitely a soda bottle not as old as you might think however. It's machine made. 1960's - early 80's

Thanks. I don't know much about any of this. I pretty much go with a friend who detects while I take pics...mostly of birds. I saw this, the only whole bottle, among a lot of broken glass, so I took it home. Couldn't find anything just like it online.

I know very little about bottles. But on older bottles, the mold seam that can be seen in the glass does not extend up through the mouth of the bottle.

Here is plenty of information on bottles.

I am guessing your bottle is newer. Like after 1900's. Could have had a paper label or painted but it doesn't look like a bottle that is older or rare.
