I was hunting a plantation site near Vicksburg, MS today and one of the things I found was this brass piece with the inlay still intact. It has a flower design in the inlay.
I'm guessing this could be a cufflink?? Can anybody give me a positive i.d. on this? The plantation dates back to the 1830s. Thanks for any insight. I'm including a front and back image of the artifact.
