Is This An Axe Head

Just got back from a few hours searching. Here's some pictures of the day's finds. Suppose the big question is, is this a stone age axe head. It sure looks good on the fire place. Other finds, a large hook shaped object, a jeton 16th century, another Tudor dress fastener 16th century, a 17th/18th century nipple button. And a pint of ale in a very nice beer garden on the way home. Robert.

Wow nice find, definitely a Neolithic-early Bronze Age drilled axe or hammer-axe. Sad to see it is broken but the other piece is likely in the same area so would be worth keeping an eye open for, that's an unusually large example.

For sure mate, I have seen a few of those that look just like that up in Scotland and down in England. Nice find!
