Is this a silver ring ?

Just found this ring with a kind of 4 stars or dots in it

Someone knows if it’s a silver stamp or something else ?

I've just looked with a magnifying glass, it's more like 4 dots.

I'm no jewelry expert, but it looks crudely cast, so my guess would be costume jewelry.
The mount, that holds what looks to be an amethyst stone, appears to be soldered.

It also might be Mexican or Middle Eastern silver, you never know.

Yeah I would say not silver, but plated pot metal that came from a vending machine. Most likely made a little girl very happy one day, until she lost it , but if her daddy was like I was to my 3 little girls I'd just fix those sad faces with a real silver ring. I just showed my middle daughter some 14k gold red coral Asian earrings I had and she asked what are you gonna do with them??. I said, I'm gonna sell them for more than I paid. She made that very low and quiet uuu sound. I said so you don't think I should do that. Well yeah she replied, the Chinese New year is coming up and these would be awesome to wear. I handed them over and said these are worth like 80 bucks, so don't lose them, even though she might.

take a piece of aluminum foil spit into it the wrap the ring in the spit and foil for 30 seconds
unwrap and smell it stinks really bad it is silver smells just little it is plated no smell not silver
