Was doing some arrowhead hunting while my detector is away. Found this. Though it might be a fossilized sharks tooth, but not sure.

I'm thinking probably just a rock.

Hi, this is my first post on this site so I'd better make it a useful one;

That looks like many of the teeth I have collected but the truth lies in the 'feel' of it. If its heavy, dense and cold its probably rock but it its lightweight with a warm 'wooden' kind of feel its possibly a tooth.

Best I can do, cheers,

I have collected 100s and 100s of shark teeth and I'm sorry but what you have is a rock.

Yeah, I'm gonna call it a tooth shaped rock. Maybe next time.
