...I've found these types before but not with these hole/indent things....what would have made them? This is all one rock from different sides...... RSCN7009.JPG RSCN7007.JPG RSCN7027.JPG RSCN7019.JPG RSCN7021.JPG RSCN7025.JPG....thanks!

Hmm, I was gonna say rock until I saw the last pic. It looks like fossil, but whether it's bone or a coral I don't know. Do you have a college nearby where you can take it in to be ID'd? It would be interesting to know just what it is.

...really? You guys think it may be fossil bone, that would be nice! No mamabear no one to near to take it to, yah...I'd like to know from what, if it is bone.

...TJE...the two holes/indents are on opposite sides but don't go all the way through....here's a pic with my fingers in the 2 holes & a few more if that helps? Thanks guys! :) RSCN7390.JPG RSCN7438.JPG DSCN7389.JPG RSCN7444.JPG

Your doing a great job of posting clear and relevant images.. Very professional.. I believe what TJE and myself as seeing.. is that if it is bone and those hole actually line up.. it could be from a projectile entering from one direction and exiting from another.. yes I still feel its a crystallize bone, maybe even a skull of something shot 100's of years ago. I'm not sure is a single spear wound would make this type of entry hole.

...thanks for liking my pictures SW.......though the two "holes/indents" are opposite they don't exactly line up, there would be a slight curve, do don't know about it being a "wound"...besides the hole doesn't go all the way through. And don't you think it's awfully thick to have been a skull? Your story/idea is exciting though!
