✅ SOLVED Is this a primer

Color: Green/ brass color
Size: 2 1/4" wide X 1/4" thick
Made of: Looks to be brass, and under the green I don't know
Writing on it: Topside 5-50.J in white, FI raised stamp in the green Backside raised Stamp D4 in the green

I was out digging yesterday and I found this maybe 4 inches down. I tried to find out what it was on the internet to no luck. Is it a flash grenade primer, or maybe a grenade launcher primer? That is what it looks like to me, but someone else might have better insight to what it really is...

Thank you, for that is what it looks like. The military green is why I was wondering if it was a primer and had me searching primers...
