🔎 UNIDENTIFIED Is this a musket ball? It’s the size of an average blueberry and heavy like lead with a hammered texture?

Cool find, pretty rough looking. Weigh it with a kitchen scale and get an accurate diameter if possible. You'll get an answer that way.

It sure looks like one, assuming it is made of lead or pewter, which was a last ditch substitute when they couldn't get lead.

Id stick a magnet to it before you scratch it. Assuming it’s not iron, but good way to check
Well it’s magnetic but could it possibly be a rare iron musket ball? I know only a very small amount from 400+ years ago are iron but maybe?

Definitely not a musketball, two strikes against it, too small and attracted to a magnet.
