This was found in south Alabama at an old house site near a ferry crossing. There was was 19 cents in all
near where the old rock chimney had fallen. A 1942 merc, 1943 nickel, this 1944 Newfoundland one cent
and Three wheats ranging from 1935 to 1942. I have done some research on it and some say it is a key
date, while others say it is not. I hate there is a hole in it but all the same it was a good find for me. So
what do you think? Key date or not.
