is this a gemstone

HI everyone . can you tell if this stone can be a gemstone?
here is the pictures . I tried to scratch it with metal saw but not scratched.

1st - I noticed this was your very first post - so, Welcome Aboard memouz! You didn't list your state (or country) in your profile. does it have chatoyancy (shimmer effect in light)? If so it is probably moonstone.

Otherwise it is probably a quartzite, small possibility of it being a type of feldspar I'm not aware of. Pretty sure you have a water-rounded chunk of quartzite.

yes it has some chatoyancy.
so for now we cay say the most hope will be moonstone??
how can I make sure of it?
if yes, how much the price for the moonstone?
