Is this a coin?

In the early 1970's, I found this coin laying on the floor in a grocery store. Wondering if anybody knows what it is? It is 1" in diameter, and not sure what it is made of.

The word "COPY" in the second picture is the biggest clue. It is a fake roman coin, but still better than a stick in the eye :wink:

It's a copy of an ancient (c. 475-450 B.C.) coin of Gela, Sicily, depicting a man-headed bull, the river god Gelas. There are many varieties.
