its dime thin smooth edge and rings up as silver any idea what is is ?
 

Replica of a Dutch ducat, perhaps for jewelry or maybe a contemporary fake that was gold plated silver.

Looks like a no-dated replica. The reverse inscription on these single ducats says: MO. ORD. PROVIN. FOEDER. BELG. AD. LEG . IMP.
It is an abbreviation of the Latin text
Moneta Ordinum Provinciarum Foederatarum Belgii Ad Legem Imperii. Translation: “A coin of the provinces of the United Netherlands according to the law of the Empire”.
