Found this bullet today here in Southern California.. Can somebody tell me more about it? was it fired, what kind of gun, etc?

Shown in the last picture are other bullets found in same location..

Thanks for any input.

I have several pc of carved lead. It is some of my best finds. Carved lead is a personal item and one of a kind. Gets my juices going!! That is a nice one:thumbup: You must be on a good spot, hunt it hard. Thanks for sharing.

A carved bullet is better than an drop or fired one IMO. There is a personal touch there that has a story.

Thanks for commenting. I didnt know why it was weird shaped at first. This is def my fav spot. The area is full of Wild west history. You cant find many spots like this in Cali without good research, imo. Its a good 40 min drive from my house, yet i am always there. A bit of a ghost town.

I agree. It always sucks not knowing the stories behind these things. Was it a soldier who did it, the year was it, etc..
