Looks like the front of a button,found this at a colonial site on front it says Northumberland Fusiliers.

Looks like a British (Definately) Military capbadge, it will not be much older than WWI.

I think it is a button but it almost looks like a coin from the front.

It looks like a button face but depending on the size Crusader could be right.
