When you find an old farmhouse on google earth, how do you then figure out the actual address? I tried using the earthview when pics are available, but they usually only show some scene from the road or highway. Being a noob on research, I just don't know exactly where to start? I'm thinking if I can narrow down the address I could hit the county or city and see where they send me...

It may no longer have an address if it's been abandoned for many years. 9-1-1 coordinators now number blocks assign addresses to replace the old rural route system. See if that county has tax maps on line on the tax appraisal site. There is no detail, such as structures, but there are roads. If the map has the parcel designators, you can then look up the parcel on the same site.
