This is a discussion and not a debate. No fighting please.
I just wanted to ask a question and see where people think on it.
I believe the U.S.A. is older than people have been told. I feel Paleo probably has the best looking tools and points but I actually think there was people before them. What does everyone else think on this? I find some old tools in low lands that really makes you wonder. I dont post these due to the fact they dont show the use wear in the pictures but in hand clearly show use and alteration by human hands. I believe the archys dont want to admit it due to the fact they would have to rewrite history as we know it and that would mean allot of new studies and extra work to complete it. Africa and other countries have acknowledged it, why wont we? Some tools in these other countries have been dated at 500,000 yrs old from what I have read. There has been proof that many thousand of yrs ago Africa and Georgia was connected by a ancient land bridge. So why is not possible?
Thanks everyone who choose to answer my question, rock

The historic record is constantly being changed.
An open mind understands that what you suggest is possible.
I'd submit your findings to the archys AND self publish your finds, analysis and conclusions.
At this point, who could prove you wrong ??
Don...

I for one believe there where people here before Paleo man, it's only logical. This part of the world was lush and green and it was not the garden of Eden with no one at home.

Just look up Soultrean Theory

I agree with MR!!!!!! Some form of homo erectus ;)

Rock your theory on GA. And Africa being connected is probable. In fact, strong scientific evidence suggest that the piedmont of NC where I live was once connected to Africa. The PH. Of the soil here is matched only in Africa, exactly where Africa and NC connect if you piece the two continents together. I'll look for that link, if you'd like to read it. It's a pretty lengthy read, but full of mind exercise.

"There has been proof that many thousand of yrs ago Africa and Georgia was connected by a ancient land bridge. So why is not possible?"

Not here to dispute, rock, but that's not true. Connections between Georgia and Africa existed, but hundreds of millions of years ago, long before human existence. Southeastern New England, where I live, was also adjacent to North Africa. The same fossils found in RI and Ma. are found in Morocco(NW Africa) because both areas were once part of the same volcanic arc of islands 500 million years ago. This volcanic arc, similar to the Hawaiian chain, included parts of present day Czech Republic, England, Wales, Scandinavia, Spain, Morocco(NW Africa), Newfoundland, coastal Maine, eastern Ma., all of RI., eastern Ct., North Carolna, South Carolina, portions of Georgia. This ancient island arc is known as Avalonia. And when the continents were joined in the Late Paleozoic, the widely scattered regions were closer. But there has been no land bridge between Georgia and Africa during the span of human existence on the planet. So such a land bridge could not have been used.

That said, the great Louis Leakey was convinced man had arrived here hundreds of thousands of years ago, and while his colleagues dismissed it as mental decline, supporters of very early hominids in the New World still believe it possible.
but you need the hominid fossils. They exist elsewhere where early tools are found. They need to be found here. There are disputed sites though, many have raised your questions. Homo sapiens sapiens, well, the new DNA study of the 24,000 year old Siberian boy who was part Native American, part Western Eurasian, would probably argue for an arrival of closer to 30,000 years ago. Dates as early as 24,000+ plus years from sites in Maryland now. Our history is being rewritten, the final strokes of the painting is still incomplete.

And we all know that Siberian boy didn't just go for a stroll one day and end up in North America. Its only time until further evidence could lead to a much earlier date.

That was a interesting read ST finds.
Cant learn unless we have questions and normal discussions on topics like this.

...count me in!
