Is the F75 upgrade worth it?

I'm assuming you bought a used one (otherwise it wouldn't need the upgrade). Takes about eight days. They add a gasket system to the main housing for weatherproofness and test the coil & operation. So, yes, it's worth it if you were to get the unit wet or get caught in a rainstorm, or if it had a pre-existing fault that they caught upon the inspection. Mine had a "microphonic" coil (beeped when bumped) they replaced at no additional charge and it did seem to run more stable afterwards without any loss in depth over the same ground.

Dealer said it is a showroom model...anyway can you tell if it has the upgrade or not and can you tell the year it was made by the serial number? Thanks for the reply Charlie :hello:

I found the learning curve slightley harder than Garretts or Whites...took me some getting use to pinpointing .... practice practice practice is the advise.
