Is plate an antique or a copy

I have an antique hand painted 15 inch plate. On the back is painted the following: F.Soares Reis Portugal Gaia. What does that mean? What is the approx. value?

Sorry I cannot help you identify your plate, but I advise you, to take those clips of it. They do alot of damage to a plate as most antique dealers will tell you. Especially if your plate is valuable. Hope you won't mind my saying this.

I take it this is a hand designed front of the plate. Most likely be the person and company names on the back.
