Detector(s) used
explorer se,excal 1000,whites MXT,and a E-trac
Have you ever had one of those days that you go so long without a hit on ur detector that you start to wonder if it's working. Ask yourself did I drop it? Are the batteries charged? Then you start thinking about the stuff you should be doing like mowing the lawns and fixing the fence and you don't even know how much ground you covered when all the sodden it yells at you because you found a seated dime.

Lovely Seated! :occasion18: :icon_thumleft: :blob6: I've had the same scenario of silent detector several times, but they didn't end with such a beauty!

mine just yells "hey, you found another piece of trash!"

hahaha...My dumb Azz has actually walked around for a few minutes without it on ( a few times) thinking the same thing...Usally happens when im talking to my buddy while settign up my stuff.

Killer find man!...that thing looks to be in pretty good shape too!

Mine usually end up with, crap, I'm back at the car already.

Very nice and it appears to be in very good condition...It looks like an 1843 from your pictures. I'm looking for a mint mark but don't see one. An 1843-O could be quite valuable, mintage was only 150,000.

Yep, I know that feeling of detecting and finding nothing, and questioning myself as to why I am not doing something else. At least you found a seated though. :icon_thumleft:
You reminded me of another time I was out detecting and kept getting signals. I would dig and dig, but could never find the targets. :icon_scratch: I then realized I had my steel toe boots on. :BangHead: Idiot!
Congrats on the great recovery,
MM

Nope but I have had it keep going off.went out after work a finely figger out it was my steel toe boot. Lol thank for sharing your fines with us.

Well Pennyhuntter you're certainly moving up in the world-seated dime in nice condition no less, congrats!m
