is Marshall Field sterling, not plated?

SCORED!!!is Marshall Field & Co sterling, not plated?

I did a quick run through of a house for clean out before I sent my crew over there, found this box , a full set . It reads Marshall Field sterling....is this the real deal? found 1 or 2 that reds Rondo Gorham sterling...thanks for any help

thanks for the replies, I have found a lot of the Rogers and brothers stuff over the past few years but this was the first sterling of this amount

I counted 108 pieces here and 2 funky gold looking pieces that read Siam on the handle

The Siam is probably bronze(brass), but Marshall Fields was a high end retailer in the day and produced very good stuff. All of their products are highly collectable. Great find and it's a shame silver is so down right now. Hold on to that set and it will soon be worth a good four figures.
 

thanks, I have to bag it for now, it has that dank musty damp mold smell and stinks. The silverware is beautiful, I love the some of the spoons
