Searching a creek bed yesterday near the Delaware River in NE Kansas. Found a couple arrowheads and this thing that caught my eye. It was originally covered in black gunk, but a few sparkles underneath were showing in the sunlight and the circle feature on the top really stood out. I’ve tried to take photos from different angles. It’s tough to get that sparkle to show. Any thoughts? Natural formation or actually something? Thanks!

I agree. Natural and probably a concretion. The glittery sparkles may be mica.
