is it a coin or token? new picture

hey guys maybe some body knows what this is? my brother and i found this today at an old site we just started hunting. 2 days ago i found a 1942 wheatie about 20 yrds. away... the front says stadt...mailand...initials.. J F ..in the center.. on the back is a 5 in the middle surounded by stars.

it is the same size as a penny..and has ridges like a dime..

the back has the number 5 on it with stars around it

stadt mailand is German for "city Milan", I'm pretty confident is Milan Italy
unless there is a Milan in Germany also ? I'm terrible at geography
beyond the Tri County area here

& With the center initials.... not a coin

I'm going to guess bar token
& probably WW2 era also

right on the milan city, think its years earlier than WW2, its a pretty old style 5 and the stars look to be 6 pointed
