✅ SOLVED Is it a coin, button, or what?

Was going through a bunch of flat buttons that I've found over the years and pulled this one out. Its severely toasted, but appears to have a globe in the form of a cage on one side and some lettering around the edge on the other side. it measures out to 1'' and 3/16

Yeah, I can make out a banner through the globe. Looks like you've I D this as a coin , My next question is what the heck is this doing up here? Anybody else found one of these?
