I just noticed that something happened to this website, some words are not showing up, most of the letters in each post are not showing up, right now while I'm typing this I can not see what I'm typing, I'm I the only one this is affecting? I just want to know if it is a problem with my computer or internet or a problem with the whole website.

Anyways, Happy Hunting, Coinman123.

UPDATE:
It works fine now after I closed out of treasurenet then came went back, must have been a problem with my computer.

if you haven't , log out, clean your cache and log back in

if you have virus protection run it just in case

Mine ok, too. you using one of them "potatoes with gravy" or "an empty soda can"?

CAN YOU HEAR ME NOW?

TRY CLEARING YOUR CACHE/HISTORY AND REBOOTING.

CAN YOU SEE WHAT I AM SAYING? :laughing7:

man, we is all quick, today, lol :laughing7:

oops a minute too late :tongue3:

cleaning your cache can't hurt though

Thanks guys, My laptop has been going crazy in the past two weeks, every 5 minutes a pop-up comes up on the screen saying "YOU ARE RUNNING OUT OF SPACE, LOW SPACE ON HARD DRIVE" or something along those lines no matter how many things I delete, I think it is time for a new laptop, I had to replace the key board twice, I have caught a virus a couple times and had to all these long complicated things to get rid of the virus. My laptop is not that old, they still make it but it seems ancient.

Also, right after reading Jeff's post I decided to clean the cache, it never hurts.

Thanks, Coinman123

That really sounds like a virus, or a malware of some type. Wonder if there's something about that one if you Googled it, since going Apple the problems have gone away.

I'm not a PC guy but I bought a Dell ATG Laptop used on eBay for 195.00 shipped so I could use the Minelab software.
It works perfectly and I'm blown away with the low cost of it!
The ATG can be dropped from 30" and have water poured on the KB and still works great!
I too use Apple computers and never have issues like what you have mentioned!
Best of Luck!

I would never replace a machine without trying a clean reinstall 1st.

besides AVG free

I have Malwarebytes Anti Malware free version

and Spybot search & destroy also free

I clean my Cache & run all 3 daily.
sometimes more then that :laughing7:

What! My post was chop liver or something!? :angry9:
Just cause Jeff got them long spindler, computer fast, little alien fingers(sorry Jeff :violent1: lol ) that types at light speed,
and can hit an enter button quicker! :BangHead:
I was helpful, too! wasn't I? LOL :icon_scratch: :laughing7:

I was going to say, instead of just clearing the cache, you do know how to open your control panel, performance information & tools, open the disc clean-up, and clean up the OS or wasted space on the hard drive(defrag), don't you(?), but.....

:laughing7: :laughing7: :laughing7: yeah, you done made one of the cats mad now! :laughing7: :laughing7: :laughing7:

Hello Coinman123,

You may have a virus, but try these first:

1. Run a disk clean-up and check off everything (will not hurt anything) this will free some space up on the disk. Take note of the temp file size, if large this could be some of your problem.
2. Run disk defrag program.
3. Install Malwarebytes Anti-Malware (free) and run
4. Clean out your β€œcookies” folder
Some of the viruses sit (β€œfloat”) in the registry and are not found with the antivirus software as run. You may need to reboot and open in safe mode, then apply different programs to eradicate the virus. This method (safe mode) only starts the bare minimum of operating system programs and usually the virus is not one of them.

I hope 1 and 2 solve the problem.

Regards,

The NSA is probably hacking your computer to read you Tnet posts. Damn government:laughing7:. I know I know no political posts.LOL

ok...I guess I have to bring this up since no one else wants to go there...coinman...I'm sorry to say but you are suffering from connectile dysfunction. There is no shame,it can happen to anyone. If it does not persist I would just move on and not worry. If it is chronic the help of a professional is urged.:icon_thumright:

The only time I have TNet issues are at exactly 4:30am my time, not sure if its limited to Friday mornings, but I've noticed it before, probably doing maintenance.

BC

Same here 4:30 AM till approximately 4:35 AM every Morning.

occasionally it will last a little longer.
& yes it has something to do with maintenance

I've run the Microsoft Security Essentials since they offered it free. It has really been great. I don't use anything else except the firewall. We have 6 computers running here in the home and most of my cousins and other kinfolk use the MSE. I've seen a lot of people who run McAfee and Norton having a lot more trouble than I've ever had.
If problems continue to present themselves, you may need to wipe and reload.
That's just my 2, maybe 3 cents worth. lol
