Is Basketball court a good place to matel detecting

Actually, I mean the lawn around basketball court, bc the ground of basketball court is made of concrete lol. The baskstball court was served for apartments, it was built around 1960. Any opinion? Those apartments have been demolished about 7-8 year ago，and now is wide lawn.

I have hunted 2 basketball courts, I found a watch at each one

I found the only Large Cent I have ever found literally right off the pavement of a basketball court. The ground it sits on was probably a farm because there is a 200 year old farm next to it. I figure either it had been there since they leveled the ground for the court or some kid got into a coin collection and lost it while playing. I'd say that basketball courts are great. Also, people toss their stuff on the sides when they take up a game. Things fall out of clothes etc.
