Just out of curiosity, why are there no "How To" videos about the audio aspects and nuances of the metal detecting experience? I have read many people describe the sounds as "scratchy", "bloops", "ploops", etc. Often an experienced detectorist will make a statement about learning the subtleties of the sounds of your detector. There are many descriptive terms used, but no demonstration of what that description really means. Is it too difficult to reproduce the sounds? Is it too subjective, too variable based on the individuals sense of hearing, or the sounds made by the individual machine, even within the same make and model?
I posted this on the Legend forum because that's what I use, and if someone did become ambitious enough to attempt such a project it would no doubt have to be very brand and model specific, but if the administrator(s) find it interesting feel free to move it to a general audience.
