Hi, Kia ora Mojjax
Looks more industrial than agricultural or domestic.
The very friendly HI on it could be IH

I googled "old iron weight HI 86"
and at No. 3
Philadelphia City Paper
"At 86, Great- Grandmother, ____ ____ keeps pumping iron...After 13 years of weight training, ______ is more than taking care of herself."

All I can say is .. Go Girl!

back to the subject in hand, google also threw up this site, which might hold a clue ???

IH
International Harvester
can't get more agricultural than that.
I retract my previous first statement ;D

I've had the pleasure of driving many a tractor, but I still can't see where the weight might fit in.
Cheers, Mike

Yep, PBK, I recognize it from the old farm days. Ours was used on weighing grain and feed sacks but think in the south they used for cotton, etc. Heres a picture from good old eBay.

I remember seeing similar weights on the old scales at the feed store when my dad had cattle and bought bulk feed. Monty

Right. I have several different types in the museum. Used down here for produce and mainly pecan's.
I remember my great uncle kept one in his pickup and would travel around using it to buy pecans.
