I was bored a couple a few days ago and decided to run my At Pro on pro mode with no iron discrimination on as I've metal detected my 20 are field 100s of times and cleaned up most the mess over many years so figured I'd see if any neat iron objects where out there. First hit I dug up a chunk of iron I was thing it was just scrap but then saw it looked odd. Turns out it's a solid iron toy car. Never seen one like it so I've left it in white vinegar for three days this is how it looks so far. Wasn't expecting it in the field but the field has been in use since like 1890s. Anyone know anything about this toy car? Not anything impressive but I think it is neat. mir_20210209_091406.webpmir_20210209_091422.webpmir_20210209_091450.webpmir_20210209_091509.webpmir_20210209_091520.webp

Also I know the condition of it is bad but could be worse the field was flood irrigated in it's past a lot, plowed in oblivion, fertilized, and pesticides. So I'm figuring it didn't do half bad for what it had to go through.

Looks like one of the streamliners from the 30's. Maybe a Hupmobile or Buggatii? The old cars are cool!

I think your car is a Hubley #2302 "rocket" bus. Circa 1935. It should be about 3 1/2" long. A cool find, for sure.
