Found this near a civil war camp which had an old farmhouse nearby. Item is iron, sharp point on one end and a crevice for mounting on the other end. The larger end may have been part of a bigger piece as it may have been broken on the back side and been a larger object since the iron appears very rough on the large end. Length is 5 inches and width is 3/4 inch at the rear and tapers down to a fine point. Could this have been a farm implement, a weapon or some other kind of tool?
Thanks and happy hunting,
