I've found a number of these in my yard. I first thought construction material from the house, but perhaps not. They're all very similar in size and shape but not close enough to have been produced with more modern technology. I first found the individual ones, then the larger connected sections. It seems they may have been created together then broken off for some reason.

While I had hoped for something more romantic, at least that was the first thing I suspected so I feel somewhat validated. My internet foundation searches were not...unfounded, but were definitely unfruitful. Thanks!
