✅ SOLVED Iron Relic Found at the base of a Stone Wall. What was this Thing Used for?

Found this iron relic today in the woods. It was about 5 inches down and at the base of a stone wall. It's 28 inches long and has two rings and nails or studs on it. I'm guessing it was attached to something made of wood, but I could be wrong. Any help on this one would be appreciated!

Just a guess but looks like what is left of the main beam of a double tree. (what ties two single trees together).

I find lots of the round iron rings in various diameters. Now I have a better idea what they might have actually been used for. I knew it had something to do with plough horses or oxen. Thanks for the post and cool find.

It's the metal part of Wood horse Hames.
