✅ SOLVED Iron from CW Calvary Battle Site

[HI-McDunnogh]

I was able to get out for a few hours today and hit some land on the very outskirts of a CW cavalry battle site. I wasn't able to dig anything earth shattering, but I found this, which looks like it could've be some kind of utilitarian piece.

That's what I thought as well. What angle do you think would help? Pictured is the front, back, and side. The top is beveled a bit, but otherwise non-descript.

Hard to tell but almost looks like two identical pieces laying on top of one another and rusted together.
