That is a nice Iron Cross there, and one of the earlier models. I know that after 1940 the Germans incorporated the swastika into the middle of the cross. I would love the get my hands on the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross with Golden Oakleaves, Swords and Diamonds. There were only 12 of those made, and just one awarded during the war. That SS hat is also in good shape, I bet those artifacts cost a pretty penny.

Well i personally would not place this Iron cross 1st class with originals,because that is a 1957 (de-nazified) piece.
Made for servicemen that won the IK1 during the war and that are serving in the Bundeswehr (new German Army)
Nice piece though.

Thanks! This iron cross is Bundeswehr type but good relic anyway. I have another Iron cross with swastika. Both of them are originals.
