✅ SOLVED Iron Cone Tank

That is what it looks likes. That valve looks like a kind that would crack open with a set amount of pressure in order to control the flow.

It does look like a surge chamber for an old pump,But, It also looks like a valve for a water ram. Tony

I guess recovery would all depend on the time you want to spend on it and labor you would invest. You would not get much value out of it other than maybe if something may be hidden around it. If it was me I probably would a little at a time over several years just for fun but only when I was bored......:laughing7: Welcome to the party also. Have a blast around here.

Ah. A disinterested, slow, steady, subtle approach. I love it. And I'm in those woods all the time.
Thank you for your opinion and for the welcome!
Don't want to draw attention because then everyone will want a piece of the hidden pie.:laughing7:

I'd start digging anyway, just to see what might be underneath. At 3 1/2 feet tall, that sucker is going to be heavy! Hope you have some strong backs to move what you find! :laughing7:
