✅ SOLVED Iron buckle?

Found this today. One of my more interesting finds to date( more interesting than rusty nails! LOL).
It’s a very solid, iron piece; weighs 3 oz. I’m guessing more horse jewelry; but I can’t find any specifics yet. Any info very welcome.
