that's right we're keeping it real exciting!

Another great day for detecting, weather has been really cooperating for us lately, and the old sites have been keeping pace too. It was nice to get back to some old haunts that we've not seen in a few years and good to find another site to keep on the list. We were lucky to get back some sites we hunted many years ago and find that they weren't totaly hunted out. Although I didn't find any military buttons, I did quite well getting over some coins. The coppers were all but toast, one exception was a fat 63 Indian head, and I did recover another which was totally crunchie, but that was a first for me ,2 IHs in one day, pretty good since I don't live in the US!
I was lucky enough also to catch a couple of silver coins, three generations of British royalty, a 1834 William lV 6 pence, his neice Victoria 1888 5 cents, and her son Edward Vll, 10 cents. Along with a handfull of various nitnoids it made for a decent day and keeps the hopes alive that the rest of the detecting season will continue to produce for us.

Not sure what they're actually called, pretty sure it's one of those thingys that a leather strap goes through, as a guide or to secure it to something. Harness equipment is my short answer

Nice digs...I've found two of those harness things with the design...rosette?

I'm thinking in your direction that it is a possibility, although I haven't seen anything exactly like them I've seen similar, and it most likely is a rosette or bridle decoration

That's a real good day out a bunch of coppers, buttons, and three silvers, very nice indeed.

Awesome coin day, IH! You guys are killing it. :)
