Watching yur video of feeling the area you detect helped me in a strange way. Understanding the way people lived at an old homesite i agree helps you find banner material and historical finds. Forgive me but i took it 1 step farther. :help: The site i did today dates back to 1875 or so with a colorfull history. It was a happy family that produced our best city mayor. Ater that things got bad, drug busts, chop shops and many other things you dont want to hear. Just for the heck of it i asked MR. W... if ya got some coins out here show me 1. I walked 5 feet and found this. :hello:

Nice Barber AA! Looks like it was in with some nasty iron by the looks of the stain. :icon_thumright:

Nice save, Congrats. Research always and I mean always pays off. Some people who detect, think the good relics are going
to jump out of the ground into there bags. I have had guys ask me where I find my good finds, my answer always is the same,
IN THE GROUND!!!

Congratulations Again, hope to see more great finds from that site.
